HORACE. Epistolae ad Pisones, et Augustum. London: W. Thurlbourne, 1753. 2 vols., second edition, 8vo (169 x 114mm.) (Toning, marginal insect damage throughout, rear blank of volume 1 nearly detached.) Contemporary calf, red morocco lettering pieces to the spines (rubbing to extremities, some surface loss). Provenance: Hugh Rose Young (bookplates to the front pastedowns). - And a further two volumes (Voltaire's 'Le Siècle de Louis XIV', 2 vols., 1752, 8vo) (4).
