MEDICINE. - Johann Theodore SCHENCK. Synopsis Institutionum Medicinae Disputatoriae Pars Semiotica, Hygieine et Therapeutica. Jena: Johanne Nisius for Johanne Bielke, 1671. 4to (193 x 140mm.) Title in red and black, engraved headpieces and initials, index to rear. (Insect-damage, some text slightly affected, damp-staining throughout, lacking last two leaves of index.) Contemporary calf (lacking part of spine panel). Note: scarce. Schenck was Professor of Anatomy and Botany at Jena University, he maintained a private practice and was also town physician in Chemnitz.
