Numerous colour plates, and illustrations in the text, original wrappers bound-in, tipped-in portrait illustration of John W. Taylor on front-free endpaper of volume 4. (Toning.) Original green cloth, gilt lettering (lightly rubbed). Note: complete in all 24 parts. Provenance: Lionel E. Adams (name-plate to front pastedown of volume 2); by descent, from the estate of Rendel Williams (4).
