BINDINGS. - Claire de Kersaint, Duchesse de DURAS. Ourika. Paris: Ladvocat, 1826. Third edition, 8vo (169 x 93mm.) Half-title, engraved frontispiece, additional title with engraved vignette. (Spotting to preliminaries and last leaves.) Mid-19th century green half morocco over marbled paper-covered boards (some wear to top of spine). Note: the first edition was published in 1823. This work inspired John Fowles' to write 'The French Lieutenant's Woman'. - And a further forty-one volumes of French literature (42).
