Bucknall. London: Sampson Low, Marston, Searle, & Rivington, 1877. First edition, 8vo (219 x 137mm.) Numerous illustrations in the text, 2pp. advertisements to rear. (Toning, uncut leaves, spotting to advertisement leaf.) Original blue cloth, pictorial gilt (wear to spine ends). Provenance: L.R.W. (name inscribed on half-title). - And a further thirteen volumes relating to glaciers, the Alps, and Mont Blanc (including James D. Forbes' 'Norway and Its Glaciers, Visited in 1851', 1853, 8vo, and by the same author, 'The Tour of Mont Blanc and of Monte Rosa', 1855, 8vo, and M. Le Chanoine Rendu's 'Theory of the Glaciers of Savoy, 1874, 8vo). Provenance: by descent, from the estate of Rendel Williams (14).
