First edition, 8vo (223 x 136mm.) 2 folding maps, 3 plates, numerous woodcut illustrations in the text, 2 mounted extra-illustrations, 2 extra-illustrations loosely inserted, 24pp. of publisher's advertisements. (Toning, minor spotting to front and rear leaves.) Original green cloth, pictorial gilt to upper cover (fading, rubbing to extremities). Provenance: André Bataillard (gift inscribed to on the half-title). - And a further three volumes relating to Romania (including 'Romania in Chipuri si Vederi', 1926, 4to) (4).
