BIBLE, In Latin. Biblia Sacra Vulgatae Editionis, Sixti V. Pont. Max. Ivssv Recognita atque edita. Lyon: Claud Bourgeat, 1669. 8vo (276 x 200mm.) Title in red and black with engraved vignette, additional engraved title, index, several bound-in notes in manuscript hand. (Chipping to margins of additional title, damp-staining from *1 to D7, browning, creasing to rear leaves.) 20th century half sheep (creasing to spine). Provenance: T.F. Sablon (name inscribed to title). - And a further nine related volumes (including 'The Book of Common Prayer', 1769, 8vo) (10).
