An Edwardian silver Artists Rifles vesta case of rounded rectangular form with hinged lid, the front engraved with the Star of the Order of the Thistle and motto 'Nemo me impune lacessit' (No one provokes me with impunity) beside Artists Rifles crest and inscribed '2nd Jany 1911 to 11th Feby 1911', Birmingham 1909 by Horace Woodward & Co Ltd, weight 52.2g, length 7cm.
