A Chinese blue and white porcelain ginger jar, mark of Kangxi but late 19th century, the stout ovoid body painted with a pheasant perched on a rock amidst peony, other flowers and flying birds, all below a lotus filled ruyi head collar, underglaze blue four-character mark within double ring to base, height 22.5cm.
