An Elgin base metal cased keyless wind open-faced pocket watch, the movement detailed 'B.W. Raymond Elgin Ill' and numbered '7026288', the signed enamelled dial with black Arabic hour numerals, outer red Arabic minutes and subsidiary seconds, the case back with inlaid gold locomotive, case diameter 5.6cm, together with a group of four other American pocket watches, comprising two Waltham, Hamilton and Elgin, diameters ranging from 5.6cm to 5.2cm.
