Lewes: Baxter, 1835. 2 vols., 4to (323 x 252mm.) 2 engraved portrait frontispieces, 2 folding maps, 54 engraved plates, 1p. of publisher's advertisements. (Toning, spotting to plate margins, two tape repairs, a tear to p.29 of vol. 2, chipping to margins of preliminaries.) Near contemporary burgundy half morocco (endpapers replaced, extremities rubbed, wear to spine ends). Provenance: Roald and Pat Knutsen (bookplates to front pastedowns) (2).
