ILLUSTRATED BOOKS. - Warwick GOBLE (illustrator) and Grace JAMES. Green Willow and Other Japanese Fairy Tales. London: Macmillan and Co., 1910. First edition, 4to (247 x 178mm.) 40 colour plates tipped-in on brown card with captioned tissue-guards. (Light spotting to preliminaries and throughout, browning to endpapers, date inscribed on front-free endpaper.) Original blue cloth, pictorial gilt to upper cover (spine ends bumped, small mark to lower cover). Provenance: Roald and Pat Knutsen (bookplate to the front pastedown). - And a further five illustrated volumes (including 'The Surprising Adventures of Baron Munchausen' illustrated by William Strang, 1895, 8vo) (6).
