MILNE, A.A. [The Christopher Robin Books.] London: Methuen & Co. Ltd., 1927-1928. 4 vols., mixed editions, 8vo (188 x 121mm.) Numerous illustrations by E.H. Shepard. (Toning, browning to preliminaries.) Original green, blue, salmon and burgundy cloths, gilt vignettes to covers (bumped to spine ends), dust-jackets (chipping to spine ends, some loss to extremities, large tear lower panel and partial loss to spine panel of 'Now We Are Six', occasional finger-mark). Note: 'When We Were Very Young' is the seventeenth edition (1928), Winnie-the-Pooh is a fifth impression (1927), 'Now We Are Six' is a third edition (1927), and 'The House at Pooh Corner' is a first edition (1928) (4).
