MILNE, A.A. Winnie-the-Pooh. London: Methuen, 1926. First edition, first impression, 8vo (187 x 125mm.) Numerous illustrations by E.H. Shepard. (Mild toning, browning to endpapers.) Original green cloth, pictorial gilt to upper cover, t.e.g. (lightly bumped to extremities). Provenance: E.M.E. (inscribed to in ink on initial blank). - And a further two books for children ('Chinese Fairy Tales, Told in English' by H.A. Giles, 1920, 16mo, and 'The Arthur Rackham Fairy Book', 1933, 8vo) (3).
