Extra-illustrated with 10 mounted plates relating to Dante and Italian art. (Toning, occasional browning.) Contemporary vellum with a hand-painted roundel portrait of Dante based on Sandro Botticelli's painting, surrounded by hand-painted floral design in art nouveau style, with ties (endpapers replaced).
