A large early Victorian needlework sampler by Sarah Illingworth, aged 18, dated 1837, predominantly worked in red thread with a bold front elevation of Eastbrook Chapel, Bradford, below 'Psalm XXIII', within a strawberry border, 76cm x 65cm, within a glazed gilt frame. Note: Eastbrook Chapel was opened in 1825 for the Wesleyan Methodists of Bradford.
