BINDINGS. - Maurice MAETERLINCK. The Life of the Bee… translated by Alfred Sutro. New York: Dodd, Mead and Company, 1908. 8vo (188 x 123mm.) (Spotting and browning to front and rear leaves.) Near contemporary full blue morocco bound by Hatchards, gilt border turn-ins, t.e.g. (dulling to spine, upper joint rubbed). Provenance: Marjory and John Todd (bookplate to front pastedown, and name inscribed (née Clauston) to initial blank). - And a quantity of approximately seventy further volumes, mainly literary (including James Morris' 'Heaven's Command, an Imperial Progress', bound by Sangorski and Sutcliffe, 1973, 8vo. Provenance: the property of Michael Godfrey (a quantity).
