A late 19th century New Zealand silver mounted egg cup by B. Petersen & Co, the cream coloured egg (possibly from a greater rhea) supported by a tree stem, the circular naturalistic foot applied with an emu and kangaroo, the footrim stamped 'B. Petersen & Co', height 22.5cm. Note: B. Petersen & Co were silversmiths based in Christchurch.
