An early Victorian rosewood and boxwood inlaid letters box, the pierced lid with mother-of-pearl plaques inscribed 'Answered' and 'Unanswered', width 27cm, together with a Victorian rosewood writing box with mother-of-pearl inlaid decoration, width 28.5cm. Provenance: from the principal contents of Stone House, Bolney, West Sussex.
