A late 19th century French Louis XVI style mahogany and gilt metal mounted library bookcase by Edmond Poteau, the glazed cabinet enclosing three glass shelves, the base fitted with six oak-lined drawers above a pair of tambour shutter doors, bearing inset maker's plaque to drawer, height 214cm, width 110cm, depth 42cm.
