Brown, 1790?] 1 vol. only (of 2), 8vo (262 x 212mm.) 3 half-titles with engraved vignettes, 13 engraved plates by Thomas Bewick and others. (Lacking title-page and all leaves after p.794, last twenty leaves with text loss, first 'Preface' leaf with large tear and text loss.) 20th century full calf, red morocco lettering piece (endpapers replaced). - And a further volume (George Ridpath's 'The Border-History of England and Scotland', 1776, 8vo) (2).
