LANG, Andrew (editor). The Brown Fairy Book. London: Longmans, Green, and Co., 1904. First edition, 8vo (181 x 115mm.) 8 colour plates, numerous black and white illustrations. (Toning, occasional minor spotting, front-free endpaper loosening.) Original brown cloth with pictorial gilt to upper cover and spine, g.e. (upper joint splitting, slight spine lean). Provenance: Rita B. Longhouse (name inscribed to the initial blank). - And a further six volumes (including 'The Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam' illustrated by Frank Brangwyn, 1919, 4to) (7).
