Half-title, colour frontispiece, 20 photographic plates, 2 folding maps, 2pp. publisher's advertisements to rear. (Toning, spotting to endpapers, some damp-staining to rear pastedown.) Original blue cloth (spine ends bumped, discolouring to lower cover). - And a further eight volumes (including Samuel Sharp's 'Letters From Italy', [1767], 8vo, and Nagayo Ogasawara's 'Life of Admiral Togo', 1934, 8vo) (9).
