                A Continental Japanese Imari style porcelain shaving bowl, late 19th century, the centre painted and gilt with flower charged vase, diameter 27.7cm. Provenance: from the private collection of David Armitage, former conservator to the Department of Eastern Art at the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford, between 1970 and 1999.
