A late Victorian silver novelty propelling pencil in the form of Cleopatra's needle, by Sampson Mordan & Co, with engraved hieroglyphics and suspension ring, extended length 12.5cm, together with a silver cased propelling dip pen by Sampson & Mordan, and a silver paperknife, Chester 1908 by Andrew Barrett & Sons, length 14.2cm.
