LOT 2855
A rare pink silk pair of stays, probably 17th century, finely boned and with applied silver thread braiding, the sleeves and front with attached silk ribbons, length 43cm. Note: a similar sleeved pair of stays can be seen in 'Seventeenth & Eighteenth Century In Detail', Hart & North: V & A Publishing, 1998, Page 12 and 13.
