Contemporary brown full morocco, panelled in gilt in the Arts and Craft style by Douglas Cockerell, g.e. (some scuffing to upper cover, extremities bumped). Note: bound by renowned British bookbinder Douglas Cockerell and dated 1900 in gilt to the rear turn-in. Cockerell taught at the Central School of Art and design from 1897 to 1905 (and again from 1921 to 1935), and also at the Royal College of Art.
