First U.S. edition, inscribed by the author, 8vo (188 x 132mm.) 8 colour plates, 6pp. publisher's advertisements. (Toning.) Original blue cloth, gilt decoration to upper cover (lightly rubbed to extremities, mark to upper cover). Note: Tagore won the Nobel Prize for literature in 1913.
