(Paper repair to frontispiece and title-page of vol. 1, toning, marginal losses to preliminaries of vol. 10, 'Persuasion', blanks replaced.) Near contemporary red half morocco bound by Asprey (two volumes rebacked, one of which damp-stained to upper cover, another discoloured to spine, endpapers replaced, occasional rubbing) (12).
