DICKENS, Charles. The Uncommercial Traveller. London: Chapman and Hall, 1861. First edition in book form, 8vo (190 x 119mm.) Half-title. (Lacking the publisher's advertisements, mark to the title-page, toning, illegible name inscribed to front pastedown in contemporary ink.) Original blind-stamped cloth (minor loss to spine ends, sunning and fading to covers). Note: seventeen sketches written by Dickens after his nocturnal walks in London. First published in 1860 in 'All the Year Round'.
