Etched frontispiece by Philip Pimlott with captioned tissue-guard, 36 illustrations, including 4 plates. (Toning, spotting to pastedowns and endpapers.) Original card covers, black lettering to spine and upper cover (chipping to margins, some loss to spine panel, some staining). Provenance: Peter Herbert, late owner of Gravetye Manor (bookplate verso upper cover).
