Moon, tissue-guards, wood-engraved illustrations. (Toning, occasional browning.) Original blue cloth, gilt titling to upper covers and spines, t.e.g. (extremities bumped, upper joint of volume 1 splitting). Provenance: Charles F. Townley (bookplates to front pastedowns); Peter Herbert, late owner of Gravetye Manor (bookplates to front-free endpapers) (3).
