BLYTON, Enid. Five Go To Smuggler's Top. London: Hodder & Stoughton Limited, July 1945. First edition, first impression, 8vo (184 x 118mm.) Colour frontispiece and numerous illustrations by Eileen Soper, some printed in red or blue and black. (Toning, occasional minor soiling.) Original blue cloth (hinges slightly weakened, browning to spine, soiling to covers), later dust-jacket (price-clipped, large loss to upper panel, tape repairs to margins). - And a further eighteen volumes by Enid Blyton (including the first impression of 'Five Go To Mystery Moor', 1954, 8vo, and the first impression of 'Five Go Down to the Sea', 1953, 8vo, and the first impression of 'Five Are Together Again', 1963, 8vo, and the first impression of 'The Big Book', 1964, 8vo) (19).
