A Chinese Canton enamel famille rose saucer dish, 18th century, finely painted with butterflies and peony within a yellow trellis rim with four blue and white vignettes, the underside with three flower panels and lotus vignettes, reserved against green and pink ground lotus and scrolling tendril filled borders, blue enamelled lotus and scroll mark to base, diameter 26.8cm (hairlines).
