A Chinese Canton enamel famille rose saucer dish, 18th century, finely painted with two butterflies amidst peony within a green and yellow trellis rim divided by blue, white and red vignettes, the underside with three flower panels and lotus vignettes, reserved against blue and pink borders filled with lotus and scrolling tendrils, blue enamelled lotus and scroll mark to base, diameter 26.8cm (hairlines).
