A Japanese Satsuma earthenware circular bowl by Shozan, Meiji period, the interior painted and gilt with a scene of bijin and children in a lakeside landscape, beneath a flower and cracked ice border to rim, the exterior with a band of iris, gilt signature to base, diameter 12.3cm, together with a small Satsuma earthenware bowl by Kinkozan, painted and gilt with trailing flowers, black painted signature to base, diameter 7.1cm.
