A Chinese famille rose porcelain brushpot, Qianlong style but 20th century or later, of cylindrical form, painted with a figural scene of boys, iron red enamelled four-character Lin zhi cheng xiang (The kylin's foot brings good luck) mark to base, height 12.8cm, together with a Chinese powder blue glazed porcelain diminutive vase, underglaze blue pseudo six-character mark of Yongzheng to base, height 5.6cm.
