A pair of Chinese famille rose export porcelain vases and covers, late Qianlong period, each of flattened spade form, moulded in relief with opposing figural panels of lady, deer and attendant boy in landscape, reserved against a 'chicken-skin' ground with further figural panels and scattered flowers, each flared neck flanked by a pair of iron red and gilt dragon handles, the cover with similar Buddhistic lion finial, height 24cm (minor restoration).
