PLAT, Hugh. The Garden of Eden. Or, an accurate Description of all Flowers and Fruits now growing in England. London: William Leake, 1653. 8vo (128 x 77mm.) Woodcut initials and decorations, 1p. publisher’s advertisement to rear. (Title-page in facsimile and also two leaves, K3 and K6 in facsimile, C1 with loss to top, text affected, K1 with hole, text affected, some pencil notes to margins.) Contemporary calf (minor loss to spine panel). Note: originally published in 1608 as ‘Floraes Paradise’, it was first issued with the title of ‘Garden of Eden’ in this edition of 1653.
