A black enamelled and half-pearl shaped oval mourning brooch, mid-19th century, glazed to the centre with a feathered hair locket compartment within a surround of half-pearls, the back inscribed ‘In memory of Henry Rowell Obt Feby 27th 1853 Aet 25’, width 5cm (pin lacking), and another mourning brooch, the centre with a half-pearl and rose cut diamond forget-me-not spray, width 3.9cm (one half-pearl lacking).
