An exceedingly long late 19th century needlework band sampler by Violet Dickson, inscribed to one end 'Fait par Violet Dickson au Pensionnat de Machelen 1898', finely worked with bands of letters, other panels of embroidery and applied examples of clothing, 865cm x 30cm.
