A rare George II carved pine fire surround, in the manner of William Kent, the heavy stepped mantel above a frieze finely carved in high relief with a mask looking to one side flanked by scrolling foliage, the sides with bands of scallop shells and scrolls, height 138cm, width 150cm, depth 22cm.
