A group of five very rare Bank of Negara Malaysia banknote die proof portrait vignettes of Tunku Abdul Rahman, colour trials in purple, blue, green, black and light brown on part-cut and part-torn paper/card with part or near full-plate margins (all extremely fine). Note: this style of portrait was used on notes issued 1967-1996. Provenance: from the personal archive of the late Alan Dow, master banknote engraver to Bradbury Wilkinson & Co and the Bank of England.
