                A scarce Boer War period City of London bronze commemorative medal by Sir George Frampton, obverse with Londinia seated in armour with City of London Imperial Volunteers soldier receiving the Freedom of the City, surrounded by a fanfare of trumpets and trailing ribbons with principle military engagements, reverse with Union Flag and City of London Imperial Volunteers flag above cannons and sunrays, BHM 3684, Hibbard A15, Eimer 1848, diameter 76mm, weight 225.2g, with original gilt-tooled leather presentation box. Note: details supplied suggest only 550 of these were minted.
