First Series with 5 engraved plates, tissue-guards, with an extra suite of 14 plates on India paper, tissue-guards, illustrations in the text, Second Series with 5 engraved plates and an extra suite of 16 plates on India paper, tissue-guards. (Some offsetting, browning to endpapers). Original blue cloth, t.e.g. (some fading to spines). Note: the First Series is a publisher’s presentation copy as it is signed on the limitation leaf by the artist and the publisher (2).
