                A Japanese Kutani porcelain vase, Meiji period, painted with opposing panels of figures and peacock amidst peony, reserved against a simulated brocade ground, iron red eight-character mark to base, height 35cm, together with a Chinese blue and white porcelain plate, mid-19th century, painted with a bird roundel within a surround of figures, three-legged toads and trellis, diameter 23.4cm.
