A Chinese Canton famille rose porcelain vase, mid-19th century, the shouldered tapering body painted and gilt with opposing rectangular panels of figural court scenes, reserved against a ground of precious objects, butterflies and flowers, beneath a similarly decorated flared neck applied with Buddhistic lion handles and chilongs to shoulder, height 63.5cm (minor faults).
