A French gold, ruby and diamond brooch, designed as a butterfly, the outspread wings pierced and mounted with circular cut rubies and diamonds, also mounted with two diamonds to the head, fitted with a hinged two prong pin, French hallmarks and detailed 'SSM', weight 24.1g, width 5.6cm, length 6cm.
