An ancient Egyptian carved hardstone scarab seal, the matrix carved to represent Ptah and rearing cobra, length 1.8cm, supplied with an impression of the matrix. Provenance: previously from the collection of Gustave Mustaki, a collector of antiquities in the early 20th century and whose collection came to the UK under Egyptian licence in 1947.
