LOT 1111
A George III silver pair cased keywind open faced gentleman's pocket watch, the gilt fusee movement with verge escapement and pierced and engraved balance cock, the backplate detailed 'Jno Muzzell Horsham 4957', the white enamelled convex dial with black Roman hour numerals and outer Arabic minutes, the inner and outer cased London 1774, outer case diameter 4.8cm. Note: John Muzzell is a recorded Sussex clock and watchmaker. He was born in Bolney in 1730 and worked in Horsham until his death in 1789.
